Re Could Voles Help Create The Perfect Husband? (June 17):
If only a tiny minority of mammals are monogamous, then presumably
non-monogamous behaviour offers an evolutionary advantage.
In that case, instead of searching for a genetic fix to make promiscuous
humans monogamous, wouldn't it be more useful if the researchers
at Emory University tried to find a way to cure the minority who
suffer from monogamous tendencies?
